Leading the charge is the beloved Running of the Reindeer, which snagged the Gold Award for Best Event! This thrilling spectacle, featuring brave participants racing alongside reindeer, captivated audiences and showcased the unique spirit of Fur Rondy. The event also received a Silver Award for Best Event with Benefit to a Cause, highlighting its dedication to community engagement and charitable initiatives for its contributions to Toys for Tots.
But that’s not all! Fur Rondy also earned a Gold Award for our Color Collector pin, which of course is a staple item for any Rondy supporter. It doesn’t stop there though, we also received a Silver Award for Best Program/Guide, recognizing the festival’s informative, engaging and eye-catching materials that enhance the experience for attendees. Additionally, the festival’s freshly updated website won a Bronze Award, reflecting its user-friendly design and vibrant presentation of all things Fur Rondy.
“We are thrilled to receive these honors,” said a spokesperson for Fur Rondy. “These awards are a testament to the hard work and passion of our entire team, volunteers, and the amazing community that supports us every year.”
As Fur Rondy continues to celebrate its legacy of fun and festivities, this recognition inspires everyone involved to make the next event even more spectacular. Join us in honoring this achievement and marking your calendars for the next Fur Rondy celebration!
